Formed in Los Angeles in 2016, Corlyx has gone through many moves and experimented with many genres with each album they have released throughout the years.
We are at the core a Dark Electronic project but we like to mix that with a different vibe and genre every
time we work on something, initially Colryx was very electro goth and we used a lot of dark synths and
super somber subjects, then we experimented with Dark Pop, Industrial, and even Grunge along the way,
this year in 2020 we decided to go back to our roots and make a real goth record, but this time totally 80’s
The electronic Duo adds guitars and live drums to their electronic productions, a colliding of analog and
digital. Both are classically trained musicians who play multiple instruments, production and sound design
were the next step for this pair and with each release they broaden their horizons, even put together their
own recording and mixing studio business, working on artist development for young upcoming talents.
After leaving Los Angles the Duo spent time living and making music in Italy, Berlin and currently reside in
Brighton England, each move gave to them a new aesthetic and influenced dimensions of their songwriting
With two albums “Music 2F2”, “In2 The Skin” and one EP “One Of Us”, loads of international shows and
festivals Corlyx continues to work hard, collaborating with multiple artists, expanding their brand and
pumping out new music every year.
Singer Caitlin Stokes does her best to tie everything together with her
unique vocal stylings and Guitarist Brandon Ashley will always have his taste in the way makes a record,
but the Duo warn their fans not to get too attached to the sound each record sets fourth and to always
listen with an open mind and heart.
Next release is scheduled for late summer 2020, an ode to Post Punk, Corlyx style.
